When you work out with weigths, start light and then go up on the weigths. For example, when working chest or legs start at a comfortable weigth then go up, when doing so you will suprise the muscle. work a specific part till you fatigue the muscle then you will be sore and you will want to rest(sleep) Also revisit your food/water intake.
